My Hope is in You LORD....

There are some things in my life right now that are hard. Things that
are really hard.... Things that may mean some major life changes.... Things that are frightening and make me anxious if I allow myself to dwell on them....

But I choose to...

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication to make my requests known to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:6 adapted for me.

My HOPE is in the LORD GOD MY CREATOR.

"Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope." Psalm 16:9

"Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the LORD." Psalm 31:24

"Let Your mercy, O LORD, be upon us, Just as we hope in You." Psalm 33:22

"For in You, O LORD, I hope; You will hear, O Lord my God." Psalm 38:15

"And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You." Psalm 39:7

"Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance." Psalm 42:5

"Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God." Psalm 42:11

Yes, they're the same verse repeated in the same Psalm.

"For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth." Psalm 71:5

"But I will hope continually, And will praise You yet more and more."
Psalm 71:14

"You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word."
Psalm 119:114

I believe THE LORD reads blogs. So, MY LORD, I choose to hope in YOU. I thank you for the peace that you've given me in this time of life. YOU are so kind and gracious to me. Thank you God!!!!!

Blessings~

  4. Laura, your words "but I choose to" are so very important! We can choose to believe the verses you've listed or choose to go back to our dark cave of fear and worry. Not that I'm an expert at doing that. :)

God bless you! This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
