I'm going through a difficult time right now. My heart aches. My feelings want to drown me in despair. But, in spite of what my heart feels, my eyes see, and what my ears hear, I choose hope. Hope for the future, hope for the situation, hope for the relationships, hope for a growing trust in and relationship with Christ. Where else can I turn but to the Lord?
Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You. Psalm 33:21-22Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance.Psalm 42:4-6

ReplyDeleteHope is a very powerful 4 letter word! You are so right that where can we turn but to the Lord. He is always there just waiting for us to ask for His help. He gives peace beyond our understanding. What an awesome God we serve!!
