How do your mornings begin?  Rush rush rush?  Slow and easy?  However they begin, take some time to open your Bible and speak to God.  The rest of your day will be better for it.  You'll be better for it.  Have a terrific day!

Blessings,

  3. Hi Laura, It's nice to meet you. I followed your link from Kates. I start my conversation with Jesus before I even get out of bed, and it truly does make my day better. Blessings!!

  5. Yes, Hope, I do enjoy quiet mornings. In fact, a bit too much this morning! I let my older children sleep too late today!

  6. Hi Betty Jo,

That's the perfect way to start the day. I sometimes turn on my audio Bible before I get out of bed, too.

    Blessings,

  7. Good Morning Sweet Friend!

I usually get up, get a cup of coffee going and do a bible study before the kiddos get up. That's my quiet time to really listen and to study the Word. You're right, if I get the Word in me first thing, I seem to have a much better day than if I rush around and not have time with the Lord. He knows our needs each and every day. I've been reading up a lot on the Grace. It's just so beautiful to have.... things go much smoother with his Grace!

    Have a wonderful day Laura!

    Hugs,
    Amy

  8. Hi Amy,

I have a daughter named Amy. I'm sure you know that it means beloved. I also have a daughter named Emily Anne. Anne means full of grace. It's wonderful to see the grace developing in all our lives. Extending it to others can be as difficult as accepting it from God. ~smile~

    Blessings,

  11. Hi Roxy,

I needed to remind myself. I'm listening to Isaiah on YouVersion this week. I've been through it enough times now, it's beginning to come alive to me. I know that I need to saturate myself in the Word this year.

    Blessings,

    Laura

  12. My morning always begins with coffee and "Good Morning God." Got in that habit a long time ago. I definitely need to spend more time with the Bible.

  15. Wise advice. My mornings start out in a rush most of the mornings I'm afraid, but I try to have time with God each morning before the busy-ness of the day engulfs me.

  16. I actually do better with bible reading and study later in the afternoon but your point is well made...be sure to fit it in and make it a priority! :)

Thank you so much for "talking back" to me!

I read all comments and appreciate them.
