At Sunset
I used to go out at sunset with my toddler boy (who now towers over me) and look at the sun setting. He would stand on a chair beside me. With our arms around each other, every night I would say, "God painted that for you!"
Now, every once in awhile, at sunset, he'll put his arm around me and say, "God painted that for you!"

God bless you! This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!

Oh how sweet..
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing such a touching moment.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Anne.
ReplyDeleteI thought so Judy. There are so many sweet little things we forget.
ReplyDeleteAwwww! I am so touched by this! What a beautiful sentiment to impress on a little boy, and how heartwarming to have it repeated back to you. I think this is something that will be passed from your generation onward - a beautiful family-owned expression of faith and the value God places on each one of his children!
