Anchored Press 2016 Daily Planner Review

Anchor your day and your life in God's Word.
My life is in a state of change right now. My children aren't children anymore. They're teens and young adults. That means that they need me in a different way. Part of my role as a supportive mother is to help them explore different interests and career paths that they may be called to. That has added more going to my life. That means keeping it all straight. I'm working on getting more organized. I'm giving Anchored Press Daily Planner a chance to help with that.

  • Daily pages + combined weekend pages
  • Daily page includes: an hourly scheduler (6am-8pm), top 4 to-do list, dinner plan & a place to meet with God everyday
  • Daily Bible verses & inspired devotions
  • Mid-week prayer over your children
  • A weekly spot to thank God for your blessings
  • Monthly designated page for prayer requests
  • Family goal planning page
  • Family memory making prompts
  • Family go-to dinner page
  • 2016 yearly calendar and holiday pages
  • 12 two-page monthly views

  • A time to be still with God
  • A “to-do” list with grace
  • A way to get your family to the dinner table
  • A reminder to lift up your prayers to God
  • A family that has intentional goals
  • A grateful heart
  • A reason to grow
  • And a keepsake for future generations because by you meeting with God every day, you naturally pour out your soul onto the pages of your Anchored Press planner and because of that your family will have memories to cherish forever!
  • The planner is designed to help you become organized and anchored in God's Word.
The 2017 planners release in late August with an expanded product line.
2 formats, more color options and a separate prayer journal. One of the planners has 52 devotionals, 1 for each week written by some amazing women of God such as Christine Caine and Jenni Catron!

The current 2016 planners are 40% off which is a great deal because there are still 7 months left in the year to enjoy them.

  • Everything about this planner speaks of quality and good planning.
  • "Packaged with Prayer" proclaimed on the high quality delivery package.
  • Bright and easy to find so hard to lose. -grin-
  • Sturdy cover
  • Heavy for size because of nice thick pages
  • Plastic coated month tabs should hold up nicely
  • Rings are not circular. They're flattened a bit in the middle—perhaps to help the pages lie flat together when closed.
  • My best use may be leaving it on the desk instead of carrying it with me. Time will tell.
  • Nice smooth pages
  • The top 4 to do list requires more focus than a list of ten or more to dos.
  • Nice big dates
  • I enjoy the Bible verses and inspirational snippets on most pages.
  • The place to record "God blessed me this week by:"
  • Pages a bit difficult to turn. Lifting them out and away from the binding helps. It was easier after I got used to it.
  • I've gone through many stages of cooking over the years. Sometimes we try something we really like, then I forget about it and don't make it again. I think the list of family go-to dinners page will be helpful to remind me and give me ideas for menu making which is not my favorite thing.
  • Each day has a spot to pencil in dinner plans. That's helpful whether you plan a month, week, or day ahead... for that matter, even if you plan that morning! It reminds you that it's coming!
  • There's a page at the end of each month to keep track of prayer requests and updates. It's nice to keep them together.
  • I would like to see a page to pencil in dates for the following year.
  • I would like to see a place for phone numbers and addresses.

    1. I don't have access to the giveaway entries, Judy. You could probably try to enter again. I don't think it will allow you to enter more than once.

  2. Oh how I hear you about being a supportive mother and the roles have changed. It is a very difficult transition, isn't it? I signed up for the giveaway. smiles

    1. It's been difficult for me Linda. I wonder if it's any easier for working moms.
