Finding Peace in Troubled Times

Peace

It can mean different things
at different times for each of us.

One thing is constant.

Finding Peace in Troubled Times

Jesus is the source of true peace.

I pray for you that you will find
Philippians 4:6-7 peace.

"Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything
by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God,
which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts
and minds through Christ Jesus."

That, my dear readers, is peace.

Father God, I thank you that you care about everything that we care about. I thank you that you can see beyond our fears, our anxieties, our fretting to our future. I thank you that you have our lives and our world in your hands. I ask you, Father, to help us to be anxious for nothing, to trust you and pray, and to leave matters in your hands that we might have your peace Jesus. Amen.

"Peace isn't found in a pill. It's found in a person."

The battle starts again, it just made my heart so very heavy.

    1. Father God, I pray for a miraculous healing for this young girl. I pray for strength, faith, hope, provision for the bills, and complete healing. I ask that you give this girl a testimony of your goodness. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

    1. I receive those blessings Nellie, thank you! I'm afraid that "Be anxious for nothing" is one of my life verses, too, since I have such a tendency to anxiety. I'll be over for a visit in just a bit. Thanks so much for talking back. It makes blogging so much nicer, doesn't it?

May you have all the benefits of the verses, in Jesus Name!

  10. Wow Laura, once again you have posted just what I needed to read. Get all goose bumpy when the Holy Spirit lets me know I am ALWAYS wrapped in God's Love, through whatever may come my way. Received the Free Book you were offering in your drawing, "I'm going to give you a bear hug". Now just waiting to heal up so can have Granddaughter here for a couple days and read it to her. Thank you again, for everything you do for others. Send a big hug and a tiny snowflake (we got a few flurries today ;).. Karla

I read all comments and appreciate them.
Please make sure I have your email if you want me to respond or pray for you.

God bless you! This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
