Happy Homemaker Tuesday ~ January 23, 2018

As I write ...  A day late on Tuesday afternoon.

The weather.... Sunny and partly cloudy. Very chilly outside.

Right now I am... just done eating lunch.

Thinking... I'm thinking about my new knitting project

A quote to share...

Looking around the house...  My motto has become, "I can only do what I can do." Unfortunately, it shows!

From the camera...

Penny didn't know what to think of the snow!
Devotional...

On my prayer list...
  • Radiation will not harm my heart or lungs, and that I will be brave.
  • Peace of Jerusalem and Israel
  • Wisdom, health, and protection for President Trump, Vice-President Pence, and their families.
  • Healing for our country so that we may be ONE nation under God.
  • Cancer will die the death in my body. My heart, brain, organs, spleen, and healthy cells will be protected. I will live and not die and declare the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Psalm 118:17

My prayer for you, my reader...

Jesus, I thank you that you hear our prayers. Father, I thank you for sending Jesus. Holy Spirit, I thank you for being our comforter and our teacher. Lord God, three in one, I thank you that you personally know each one of my readers. You know each one's needs, fears, hopes, problems, pains, and illnesses. I ask you God to speak directly to each one, to meet each person's needs, and heal each physical problem. Bless each spiritually, physically, socially, and financially. I ask it all by the power of the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Thanks for dropping by!
Please say hello.

  4. Laura, Thank you for sharing the "How to be a smiling wife" devotional. Been letting a lot of things I need to "Let go and let God" get to me. Just amazing how He speaks to our hearts in just the right way at just the right time. Prayers for a peaceful week for you, Karla

  5. Last year when my husband had his heart attack was two days after Christmas which is when the house just feels trashed to me and we had not done a thing about it. There had been 16 of us here and all the floors were dirty and there where grandchildren stickies everywhere. After 16 days in the hospital we came home to the still yucky house. I think it was three more weeks before I could even begin to think about it and one cleaning and it was clean again. That is the cool thing about being behind on housework! It is put to rights so quickly when we are able to do it! SO.....just don't worry about it because one day it will get done and it will be done.

Today I told a friend that we may not be able to get out and do everything we want to or donate money where we want to or go visit those who need it but we can PRAY! She looked at me and said that that is probably more help to anyone than any of those other things. So in our weakness here we are praying for you. Much love!

  7. Laura, I had to chuckle at your To Do list: "Radiation, Mop kitchen floor ..." Looks like you, with your marvelous attitude, are just trying to have as "normal" a week as possible and take it in stride! You are already brave, and I'm confident that any damage from the treatment will be minimal -- can't keep a good woman down!

Please make sure I have your email if you want me to respond or pray for you.

God bless you! This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
