Honor and Happily Ever After

This is our happily ever after.
We didn't expect it to include cancer,
but we didn't expect four children either!
~smile~

We've been married since 1986.

Lowell has been faithful to me
in the
good times and the bad times.

He has taken care of me
through the years
and
through this past year.

Lowell Lane
I love you,
and
I honor you
for
honoring your
marriage vows to me.

I hope we will have
many more years
together...
forever...
no matter what.

  1. Aw you two are so sweet! Jack and I celebrated 38 years together the 6th. Some things I would not have wanted to happen but it is still our happily ever after also. I pray you two have many, many more years.

  5. Sending you love and best wishes from across the miles dearest Laura.

As I have been quiet on the blogging scene, I had missed your news about having cancer. I am sorry to hear of your battle, surgery and following treatments. I pray that you continue to get stronger and that GOD continues to protect you and heal you.

You are indeed lucky to have Mr Lane by your side through this journey and beyond. He sounds like a such a faithful friend to have around, being married to this a man is a real blessing.

(I have been following a plant based lifestyle and I am led to believe that it is a good diet for fighting off cancer. It might be worth looking into to help you heal and fight this). Just a kind thought that might aid with your recovery dear one (((hugs)))

    Blessing to you sweet Laura,

    Love Tania xxx

  14. my dear friend Laura, never think that I have forgotten you. A few days ago I'm missing because I'm doing a job of my own that had become unconfigured and is a very important musical work for me.
When it's fixed, I'll give you the link so you can read it and enjoy it.
Many Congratulations on your anniversary, in the photo you look great ... how cute! I'm glad to see your beautiful face so well ...
A comment: Yesterday looking at my documents on the pc. I found a letter from you that gave advice for when you do not know what to write ... They are great! thanks friend

  17. Your 40th anniversary! I didn't know people got married at the age of 10! LOL

I can't believe you are old enough to be married 40 years. We celebrated 32 this year.

My parents had their 59th in May, and my in-laws had their 65th (their last, as my mother-in-law passed 10 days later).

My dear friend is taking a trip in August to celebrate her in-laws' 75th! Imagine that!

Long marriages are definitely something to celebrate! Congratulations to you and Lowell.

    Anyhow, very cute photo.
