ADORED 365 Teen Devotional Review

Here's Amy's review of ADORED 365 Devotions for Young Women.

Hey everyone!
Are you looking for a devotional to start reading?
Looking for a Christmas gift?
Well, today I am writing a review for a devo called Adored. This is my first official book review outside of doing it for a friend and also on my own accord. So sit back and enjoy. ☺

Before we do anything, let's get an idea of the book facts.

Here is the synopsis:

Each day features an easy-to-read, relevant devotion paired with a scripture verse and journaling space to help readers reflect on the day’s message. The book tackles tough topics girls face, from bullying and social media to friendships and dating, all the while showing readers how infinitely precious they are in God’s sight.

This book is designed for ages 13+. I have not read all the way through it, so I do not know for certain I would agree with the age recommendation, though what I have read so far is okay. I have not read any of the devotions on bullying, or dating, so I can't really tell you what I think on those. The book does talk about things & concepts like God's promises, God's creation, freedom, modesty, and being adored by God—among a lot of other things, even down to racial tension.

Amy's thoughts:
First off, the book looks great in person, and it is a little over an inch thick. Sturdy! From what I have read, I find the devotionals sharing some of the basic points we need in our lives, but also saying "here's what's what" in its own way. The author is honest, and I like that. I actually just picked the book up and read some—and it fit today, reminding me of how I need to act in a situation I might encounter.
Also, one great thing about this devotional is that there are no specific dates on the devos, just day 1, day 2, etc. so you can start on any date.

Will I read more? I think so.
Will I give this book to someone else someday? Probably.
Do I recommend it? Yes.

I give it 4 stars—★★★★.
