My Thoughts:
I've been a Christian since 1980. That's 39 years. Yikes! That's scary! I've read and listened through the Bible several times. It's become familiar to me, but this book has plenty to teach me.
I received this book in December, but between the holidays and traveling at the beginning of the month, I was not able to read it in 30 days. It is, after all, a 385 page book! Mr. Anders is not just a writer, he's truly a teacher. Each section has fill in the blanks, self-tests, and reviews. His favorite phrase is, "Repetition is the key to mental ownership." He means it, too. Each section builds on the knowledge of the previous sections. He explains Bible topics using topics that are relevant to American history and to today.
Fifteen minutes a day is not enough for me, but it may be for you. I have more reading to do in this brilliant book that I'll be continuing to read and study for at least another 30 days. I highly recommend it.
