OH, this was a vunderful gut novella! I enjoyed it so much. It was a book that really kept my interest. I read it quite quickly compared to many books I read. It's a classic theme of learning to let go of the past and embrace the future. The characters are so likeable, I'd love to know what happens next! 

I will say, this is an Amish novella, but the characters don't seem as bound to the old-fashioned traditions of their order as much as one would expect. You might say that they push the limits of their culture. 

This is a lovely book of redemption that just happens to climax during the Christmas season. It's a nice, light read for a quiet, and hopefully snowy, Christmas season evening.
