The leaves are just turning to rich vibrant shades here in Southwest Missouri. In my yard, it begins with a deep crimson followed by mellow gold and brilliant oranges and thrill me delightful reds. I do love being surrounded by Maples and Oaks and Black Walnuts. It's been raining for days and nights, so I don't have photos yet.
Last night we had soup, and I'll no doubt be thinking of soups and stews as I plan my menus later today. I'll be digging out warmer clothes this week, too, as well as washing extra blankets.
How are you enjoying the change of seasons?
Laura
Such an encouragement when I read your posts. Blessings to you as well.
ReplyDeleteMy feet are cold and I dig into my closet to pull out full sleeves t-shirts but I find non because I am yet to get the winter clothes in and pack away the summer ones! Sigh!

We are already in spring here in Australia and because we live in the south we don't really put away our woolens because we don't know when we will need them again. I look forward to Autumn as it is a favourite season, but I know we should enjoy all seasons as they come. Enjoy your soups and stews as we enjoy our BBQs. Thank you for sharing on Good Morning Mondays. Blessings
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Autumn blessings! I do appreciate you sharing with A Return to Loveliness,

Hi Terri,
ReplyDeleteThank you for "talking back" to me. I don't put away all of our warm weather clothes. It can get warm here in central U.S.A. even in mid-winter. Enjoy your bbqs!
Dear Kathy,
ReplyDeleteAutumn is my favorite time of year. I love the anticipation of winter and Christmas.
