“Everyone carries an atmosphere about him. It may be healthful and invigorating, or it may be unwholesome and depressing. It may make a little spot of the world a sweeter, better, safer place to live in; or it may make it harder for those to live worthily and beautifully who dwell within its circle.”
~J.R. Miller~

I love this quote, it's so true! Thanks sweet friend for prayer, my knee is doing better, I'm taking cod liver oil to help it get stronger and with your little prayer, I think it's working! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteHi Sue,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear you're doing better. I'm happy to pray for you. You're welcome to e-mail me directly with prayer requests as well.
I hope you're planning to share photos of your new baby on your blog, Country Pleasures
Blessings to you from Harvest Lane Cottage,
Laura
Yes, I agree you can be a positive atmosphere changer or an ugly one. I love it when I am someplace and you can physically see how someone is having one of those days and all you do is give a gentle smile and you can see how their atmosphere changes around them. I love it! I would rather be a graceful woman than one that is bitter. Thanks for posting this!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week Laura!
Blessings,
Amy
ReplyDeleteYes Amy. I do agree. I like to give everyone a smile, especially the sour pusses. ~grin~
Doing it in your own home is sometimes harder. I get busy and forget to smile at my kids and husband. It's something I need to practice practice practice.
I'm coming over to see you at your blog. Thanks for talking back!
Blessings from Harvest Lane Cottage,
Laura
Truth. Tomorrow is my 20th anniversary. This is so true and a wise woman will understand this early in her life and not wait till later to figure it out. :) I'm glad I stopped by today. Take care and God bless.
ReplyDeleteCalling by from Share Your Cup Thursday, wise words.
ReplyDeleteFor sure! And I love being around those that spread love and positivity! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

Me too, Jann. I try to be that type of person, though at times it's hard.

It's one I need to remind my self of, Kathy.

Amen. That is so true. Thank you for posting.
ReplyDeleteSomething to be mindful of. Hope you and Hubby are doing okay today. Take care.
