Beautiful pictures. I am looking forward as well to the changes of the seasons. When we can finally open the windows and doors to allow the fresh air in...it has been steamy/humid here in western NY. Blessings sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy watching the seasons change around my home. Thanks for sharing the charges from your cottage!
ReplyDeleteHere too with more rain, work up this morning to 53! They are predicting a BAD winter, sure wish we had wood heat!!
ReplyDeleteIt is still rainy / humid here, but thankfully in the 80's and not 95 degrees. Still lots to do around the old place before cooler weather, so I'm not rushing it any. That fall photo of your family, it looks like they were having a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteI will add to the list of Linda's commenting.
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite season. I love the colors, the cooler weather, but not so much cutting fire-wood. I am happy to have it in the winter, tho.
I live in Texas so I enjoyed today's cooler weather also. It was 66 degrees here today, a record low high. I wanted to stay out in it all day! lol!
Linda
I left a couple of comments. I don't know how but I was on older posts. I don't know if they will show up for you. Anyway. I noticed the Lizz Curtis Higgs book. Thanks for sharing it. I want to see if I can get it at my library. Oh I know how I got to them you linked the video at a party. I watched it then started reading posts. I'm kinda silly sometimes. Thanks for sharing the book. I'll check it out.
ReplyDeleteYes, Annie, we need to cut wood. We'll have to buy it this fall.
ReplyDeleteSteamy is not my friend, Linda. So glad we have Autumn to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteYour cottage and it's setting looks lovely. The weather seems all mixed up this summer. On the west coast (Washington state) we have been having record setting heat all season. Today has been cooler and I am thankful because the Eastern half of our state is experiencing terrible fires. Thanks for your visit : )
ReplyDeleteHi Mindy,
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. It's been odd here, too.
The cottage is so sweet any season Laura! That creek looks like it just stepped out of a magazine. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Hi Jann,
ReplyDeleteAll the best photographs on my blog are done by Amy my fourteen year old. I broke the camera last month, so I've been getting by with my IPod. Not the best photos, but better than nothing...I think!
I love the the cozy look of your home!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Shantel!
ReplyDeleteit has been really nice weather this past week, as much as I love fall, I know winter isn't far behind and I am not ready for that again
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Connie, let's just enjoy what we have now. Season follows season. :) Summer's not my favorite, but every season has its good and not so good. Be blessed!
ReplyDeleteI loved the photos of your cottage in different seasons. Glad your weather is cooling and that autumn is in the way. Thanks for sharing at Good Morning Mondays. Blessings
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet post, my friend. I am anticipating Autumn's return and it feels like it's just around the corner. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Terri,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments.
Blessings,
Laura
Can't wait, Stephanie! I'll put up decorations as soon as birthday season is over on Sept 13th.
ReplyDeleteI love your cottage!!! It is just my style of home.... Such fun to see it in the seasons :) I hope you have had a lovely summer Laura!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you, Jes! You're just so kind. I'll be over for a visit in just a bit.
ReplyDeleteHi Laura,
ReplyDeleteOur annual wood stacking day is a day our whole family looks forward to and enjoys. We usually get our winter's wood delivered in late July or early August. I am going to email you a link to a photo of one of those annual celebrations.
:)Hope
Those are amazing photos, Hope!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing it, Hope.
