    1. Oh do Ginger Dawn! It's fun. Thank you. I will go cross the smile and cheer off right now, but I think I'll continue to do it. Did you look at the link it lead to? It's a fun post.
      Hugs,
      Laura

  2. I love your reading your bucket lists. I love this list! A lot of the things sound like things I would love to do. I may do some. Thanks for sharing. I love the idea of inviting friends over for soup and having a Hot Cocoa Cart.

    1. I actually made a mistake in putting those both on the same line. I noticed it and fixed it. Those will be two different things. I've got an old metal cart that was left at my house when I moved in seven years ago. I'm thinking that I want to spray paint it then put the cocoa and tea things on it. I'd love to have one of those automatic hot water warmers, but I think I'll have to settle for hot water in a carafe. I wanted to do this last year, but I didn't get to it. I hope I will this year!
      Happy weekend!

  3. Sounds like a wonderful list Laura! I hope you are able to mark them all off this year!
We got snow along with frigid temps, so I'm enjoying the warmth of the fire in my wood stove while drinking a cup of coffee.

Have a delightful weekend, my friend!

    Thinking of you,
    Amy

    1. Ooh! Sounds great! It's cold here. Supposed to be 8° tonight, but there's barely any snow—just enough to cover the driveway and a sprinkling elsewhere. Could you please loan me a bucketful? My Amy wants to make the snow ice cream this weekend. ~grin~

      Hugs to you Amy!

  4. This is a spicy soup that we like: http://www.averiecooks.com/2015/09/easy-30-minute-homemade-chicken-tortilla-soup.html

And putting "writing a Bucket list" on the bucket list makes it too easy to get one checked off! Just joking!

    1. My thoughts exactly Theresa. I need something to help cheer me through January. I don't get enough snow where I live in southern Missouri.

    1. Thank you, Cheryl. I've got my living room torn apart right now cleaning it! The furniture's all on one side of the room waiting for the wood floor to dry on the other. Then it will all go to the other side and the process will be repeated.
      Blessings,
      Laura

  11. I need a winter bucket list too! But, as you know, my list seems to be made for me! Gotta get this house (and myself) straight, in order, and "less messy"!
I have a fireplace, so my rocking chair, a good book, and a nice steaming cup of coffee, or tea, seems like a perfect way to unwind after I get a bathroom done!
Thanks for the prayers & the smiles you spread, you are such a blessing to others!

  15. What a wonderful list! Personally I would add taking a bubble bath by candlelight to it. You need to take some time to pamper yourself my friend. In my case, I have to lock the cat out of the bathroom to do so because I'm afraid he would light his tail on fire with the candle. ;)

  19. Love this winter bucket list!! I hadn't thought of doing this by season, but there are many of these activities I'd like to do, too. I want to go ahead and come up with some Valentine's Day ideas for my husband and kids so I can get to work on them ahead of time.
