Thankful for a War Song to Fight This Battle!

I am thankful for war songs! The Israelites sang in battle!

This is the song that got me through the long wait for the initial diagnosis of cancer in the surgeon's office.

This is the song that got me through many of the times of fighting in the Spirit!

Okay, y'all. Don't freak out when you listen to this. It's a true war song 21st century style. It may not be what you're used to. It's not what I was used to. But I heard a man in our church a year or two ago sing this. He was battling cancer. He has won!

GOD IS IN CONTROL!

THERE'S POWER IN THE BLOOD!

I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS
OVER MY BODY FOR COMPLETE HEALING!

I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS
OVER MY FAMILY FOR SALVATION
AND COMPLETELY GIVING THEIR LIVES TO JESUS!

Y'all, this really is a war!
Satan's after you and your loved ones, too.
Plead the blood of Jesus!

What can wash away my sins?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Hugs to you all!
Be bold and courageous in the LORD!

Laura

  1. Amen Laura! The first time I heard this song, it was sung by a little girl who was a contestant on America's Got Talent. I've seen her cover of the song on YouTube. I wish I could remember her name but I know she was cute as a button!

  4. Laura, it was driving me crazy not remembering the girl's name so I looked up the song on YouTube. The little girl's name is Heavenly Joy. Isn't that such a precious name? Anyway I love her cover of it. She's only seven years old!

  5. Laura, we just had a sermon in our church, about pleading the blood over our family, healing, children, and lost love ones. My latest post was about my mom is has stage 2 cancer, come by and read about it. Keep on pleading the blood, there is power in the blood, in the name of Jesus, in His Holy word. HUGS!!!!

God bless you! This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
