Just had to share this with you again. My recipe was published in Gooseberry Patch Hometown Christmas! I have to admit, I was truly surprised when I received a letter from Gooseberry Patch requesting permission to use my recipe in their newest Christmas cookbook. I've sent in some more complicated recipes, but this one is easy peasy! It's truly a recipe that I threw together using items from my nearly bare kitchen cupboards last winter. I called it Spicy Can Opener Soup. They changed the name, but the ingredients remain the same. I was thrilled to receive my very own copy of the book . Of course, I had to make it up and take some photos to share with you dear ladies. It's simple, quick, and delicious. It's also one of those scrape the bowl clean recipes. It's just this simple. Spicy Can Opener Soup 1 can black beans 1 can Mexican corn with peppers 1 can Rotel type tomatoes w/chiles 1 package of Taco Seasoning Mix and simm...
Oh, that's too bad, Laura. Hope your pc is better soon.
ReplyDeleteI don't see any questionable ads though. Just thought you'd want to know.
Hello there Laura!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you are having computer issues. Don't you just hate those darn adds? I think they should be outlawed! I don't see any when I view your blog... I think you are safe on this end, anyways.
Good luck with the computer hospital, I'll be praying it's something minor, easy fix!
Have a wonderful week!
Amy
Dear Laura,
ReplyDeleteNo I am not seeing the adds. I am sorry to hear that your computer is sick. I hope it will be okay soon
:-)

Dear Laura, Put the computer to bed. And call me in the morning!
ReplyDeleteNo, really I am so sorry! We had to get a new one this last month as mine was not working properly.
Hope you can get it up and running soon!
Blessings, Roxy
I will pray for a new one for you!
Hi Roxy,
ReplyDeleteTonight it's behaving. I'd hoped to send it to the doctor this week, but it looks like I must wait a few more days. Doggone budgets! ~smile~ Being debt free is worth a few inconveniences.
Thanks so much for your prayer. I'll receive the wonderful blessings of a smoothly running computer regardless of how God answers your prayer. God is so very good to me.
Blessings,
Laura
Good day Cally!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for letting me know. I've been concerned that others were seeing it, too.
May God bless you!

Thank you for putting my mind at ease, Amy. Tonight the computer seems to be working fine. We still need to take it in, but I'm waiting for the $ to fall from Heaven. It will. ~smile!~
