Amy blogs at Living in Faith and Fun. I asked her about the photo. She said that she took it in our yard. It immediately reminded me of Amy's Verse of the Week. Do take a look at what she has to say.
The KJV reads, "Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world...."
Murmurings, disputings, grumbling, complaining, arguing, all words that are used in these verses in various versions. All yucky. All pervasive. All very hard to stop once they're started.
I'm guilty. I bet you are, too. I think the antidote is found in Philippians 4:8.
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
TRUE
HONEST
JUST
PURE
LOVELY
OF GOOD REPORT
VIRTUE
PRAISE
THINK ON THESE THINGS
