Happy Homemaker Monday ~ May 1, 2017

As I write... Sunday night

The weather.... The rain has finally stopped. There is widespread flooding in southern Missouri and Arkansas. There are a lot of people really suffering right now. Entire towns were evacuated. Flood waters from Center Creek reached the bottom of the hill our house is built upon. Thank you God the waters have now receded. We had a partly cloudy day today. More rain is expected later this week.

Right now I am... writing. Lots of prayer tonight.

Thinking... About the future. Tomorrow may bring some major changes.
BUT GOD!

On my reading pile...
  • Bible: II Corinthians and 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon
  • Rosemary for Remembrance from my Spring Reading List

On the menu for this week....
Because of the nature of this week, I've not made plans.
On my to do list...
  • Doctor appointment Monday.
  • Girls' Bible Study party Tuesday night
  • Church Wednesday night
In the workbasket... not really in the mood to stitch this week

Looking forward to this week... A good report from the doctor by the power of the Blood of Jesus.

Looking around the house... It's rather messy. I have not been able to do my work for a few days.
From the camera...

My worn out, cover coming off, glued together, full of notes Bible.

Devotional...  I'm starting a YouTube playlist of war/battle songs for fighting the good fight of faith. As I type this I only have one song on it, but I'll add more as I think of and find them.
On my prayer list...
  • My friend Trudy is having surgery Wednesday morning
  • Healing for Ellen—She's now in a rehab center!
  • Peace of Jerusalem and Israel
  • Calmness in my spirit
  • Healing in my body
  • Trust in my soul
  • Peace for my children and husband
  • Wisdom for President Trump
  • Kristen, Cheryl of Homespun Devotions' niece, is still fighting for her life and for her baby's. She has blood clots in her lungs and heart troubles. She is also feeling very down. Her faith is week friends. Remember the paralytic whose friends lowered him down through the roof in front of Jesus. Please pray.
Father God, I pray that each reader will know the love of God in a very real and personal way. I ask that Holy Spirit speak, teach, and comfort each reader. Bring salvation and healing through your son Jesus the Christ. I pray that you will be glorified in their lives. I ask all in Jesus' Name.  I plead the blood of Jesus over every reader and their loved ones! Amen.

Thank you so much for "talking back" to me!

I read all comments and appreciate them.
Please make sure I have your email if you want me to respond or pray for you.

God bless you! This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
