Weekend Reading October 3

Hello everyone! Can you believe another week is already past and October is upon us? This is absolutely my favorite month of the year. There are so many things to enjoy inside and outside. I choose to focus on what I can do and what I can enjoy this month.

I have a nice assortment of reading for you this weekend. I've included a scrumptious Apple Zucchini bread recipe and a hand warmer knitting pattern that is easy enough for beginners. I've included some frugal advice and nostalgic advice as well as an Autumn post from the archive.

How to Serve Meals That are Lovely Yet Frugal by Roxy @ Living from Glory to Glory

Cleaning Like the Past by Donna @ GDonna

Autumn Fires by me

Apple Zucchini Bread by Nancy C ... I tried this a few weeks ago. It was superb!

Warmth, A Basic Need by Beauty that Moves @ Simple, Green, Frugal Co-op  ... This was one of my early knitting projects.

Choose happy and look for the joy sparkles. You'll find them in unexpected places.

I hope you have a marvelous weekend!

  2. Thank you. I have printed the recipe to try this week. Would try the hand warmers as a very poor knitter but I already have two pairs gifted to me. Good idea to wear them indoors though.
