The weather.... Sunny and 72° Can it be? The sun's going down.
Right now I am.... grateful that my husband and I ate big lunches, so I won't have to make dinner!
Thinking.... of how wonderful it is that this is spring break week.On my reading pile.... Once again this week, the focus this week will be Bible, Anne of Green Gables, and my Western Heritage Reader for my free Hillsdale college online class. On Everand, I'll be listening to The Wings of Poppy Pendleton by Melanie Dobson. She has such a terrific imagination that builds sets and action and characters in my mind.
On my TV.... We are still watching Miss Scarlet and The Duke Season 2 on Prime Masterpiece Theater. It is a detective story set in 19th century London.
Favorite blog post last week.... Pink Sunday by Sarah at Classical Homemaking
Something fun to share.... I got to go visit my grandson today. I just love the way his little 19 month old face lights up when he sees his grammy. I've got the joy joy joy joy down in my heart. This little guy is a gift from God!
A Simple pleasure.... Knitting scrappy socks! They're my favorites.
Blog hopping.... A Rested Heart by Mrs. White at The Legacy of Home
On the menu for this week....
Monday ~ I don't even know! I need to make my menu.
On my to do list.... Laundry, cleaning, knitting, and catching up with old friends.
In the craft basket.... knitting of course!
Looking forward to this week.... I'm going to see my dear friend Beth tomorrow. She's been out of town for awhile.
Looking around the house.... My workroom is still messy. I wonder if I take before and after photos if that would motivate me?
From the camera....
Bible verse, Devotional....

ReplyDeleteIt seems laundry is always on my list. As I type this I can look out the back door and see laundry on clothesline. *smile* If you start a YouTube channel I would be happy to visit.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a fun week ahead! x
ReplyDeleteHello dear Laura!
ReplyDeleteI loved Miss Scarlet and the Duke (& this season it's just Miss Scarlet) and have watched them all. Really fun! I love that mug - it's so cool. Have a blessed week ahead. xoxo
I love Constant Comment tea! It's one of my favorites. And that mug is amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteYour day out with your friend sounds PERFECT. Mexican, thrifting, LFL? Count me in!
I hope you have an incredible week ahead!
Hello, Laura. You are one busy lady!
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned You Tube in your last post. I like You Tube but it takes up too much of my time. There is just something nicer about a good "old-fashioned" blog that really appeals to me.
Jo
Girl, you're one busy gal!! Sounds like a very interesting week. Blessings, Roxy
