Hello everyone!
There have been so many happy things in my life lately. From celebrating my grandson's 2nd birthday to reviving some of my use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without cooking and mending skills. I'm well on my way to Kringling Christmas. I'm knitting and sewing this year.
Two little loaves made it to the freezer.
The zucchini was given to us.
I'm almost done with my fingerless mitts.
These adorable little tops!
I found this yarn in my stash.
I forgot I bought it for apple picking time last year.
LOVE IT!
I fixed my husband's glasses with a needle and nylon thread.
The lense is not going anywhere now!
Lots of good things going on. Sometimes we have to look for them.
What is making you happy lately?Blessings,
Laura
Good Job on the Kringling.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Amy.
DeleteHi Laura! I absolutely love those fingerless gloves and the socks you are knitting. That other ball of yarn looks like it will be fun to work with also.
ReplyDeleteMonday I'll start my fall crazy socks.
DeleteHubby took me out for Indian food last night. When we got home my niece had mailed me a bell and elephant windchime with bells-- it was from India. Is this a sign?
ReplyDeleteIt seems so!
DeleteThe little tops are adorable! I haven't made zucchini bread this season. I will have to do that soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of banana bread next.
DeleteWow, Laura - you are amazing! I agree - we need to find our joy and blessings in the little things and the big ones - the little ones come more often :) You are an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYou're too kind, Carrie.
DeleteI love all the things you do.
ReplyDeleteYou're the busy one!
DeleteHi Mrs. Laura! It has been ages since I have stopped by to visit. I am so glad there has been some good things going on in your life. I also have been practicing some of my old skills of using it up and etc. I love how you said you are kringling for Christmas. I like to pop in every few months or a few times a year and check on those I used to read. I sometimes do not comment. I sure do miss my blogging days. They were so refreshing to me. I love catching up with others! Blessings!!!
ReplyDeleteI love to hear from you Chrissy! Be blessed!

I am happy that our weather has cooled off. I am not a hot weather creature and 4 heatwaves in one summer has been a trial.
ReplyDeleteI agree! I could go with a high of 80 in the summer!
DeleteYou have made some beautiful things! The tops are really adorable. I need to get on the ball with my sock knitting for Christmas. My kids and spouses and now grands all expect a pair of socks every year. They love them and I love to make them happy. :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Hmmm. I'm not sure if mine expect them or not. I know my husband does, though!
DeleteI’m loving listening to the rain, and the cooler temperatures along with it. I love zucchini bread. You are very talented. You indeed have to look for the good.
