It was an ordinary weekday.
My husband was working from home.
We decided to ride together to pick up a pizza for lunch.
a pizza picnic in the park.
Seize the day!

Now that is really a very special picnic. Funny how spur-of-the-moment things like that sometimes are more fun that big plans made. Love, Henny
ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is that if he'd asked me to go on a picnic that day, I would have probably said I was too busy. I'm glad we took the time. We never know how much time we have.

How fun.
ReplyDeleteIt made me feel young and spontaneous.
DeletePizza 🍕 anytime anywhere!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about pizza, Debby.
DeleteThat sounds fun and kind of romantic too :)
ReplyDeleteLove this! Hubs and I recently shared a pizza in what we called a "car nic." The intent was to pick it up and take it home. I was overly hungry, aka hangry, so hubby found a shady spot in a parking lot. It was fun!
ReplyDeleteThose little picnics are a favorite of ours too! In the summer we often pick up breakfast biscuits and go to a nearby lake. Glad you could go!
ReplyDeleteYou can eat pizza anytime! It's one of my favorite foods. I'm glad you had a spontaneous picnic. You have to make time for special things.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Looks like fun; lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteWe like to do that too. One of our top destinations, used to have a restaurant that sold "box" lunches for picnic style dining. They do not do that anymore.
