I love Christmas Books All Year Round.

I love Christmas music and books all year round.  I start listening to Christmas music in September whenever the mood strikes.  It's great nesting, baking, crafting music.
Click book cover for review.
Christmas novels just make me feel like snuggling under a warm blanket and relaxing.  If it's cold enough for a blanket, it's close enough to Christmas for a good story.

I've already read Where Treetops Glisten by Tricia Goyer, Cara Putman, and Sarah Sundin, A Marriage Carol by Chris Fabry and Gary Chapman, and The Christmas Shoppe by Melody Carlson.  All three are excellent.
I liked The Christmas Shoppe so much, now I'm reading Christmas at Harringtons.

  1. I haven't gotten to Christmas books yet, but I love that feeling all the time, too! My MIL's husband, starts humming "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" pretty much after the fourth of July! Thanks for the suggestions! :O)

  2. We are currently working on painting the inside of our home so there isn't much relaxing going on. I should say prepping it to be painted. :)
Soon, I will get to snuggle up with my books again!

  3. LuAnn,

I watched my first Christmas movie in September. I think Christmas music is great all year and began in July.

  4. Hello Joyful,

I love the look of fresh paint though not the smell. It's going to look fabulous when you finish, I'm sure.

What do you like to read?

  5. I haven't read any of these! I will have to investigate and maybe choose one to read in December.

    I couldn't do Christmas books year-round though.

Thanks for sharing and for linking up to the #SHINEbloghop!

    Wishing you a lovely evening.

  9. I haven't read a lot of Christmas themed novels, though I'd like to. I'd like to read Dan Walsh's 'Remembering Christmas.' Have you read it? He is such a great author and I've enjoyed some of his other books.

Thanks for these recommendations! : )

  12. Great and inspiring idea, reading Christmas books year round. Christmas is the celebration of Christ and the ideals of Christmas are important no matter the time of year. Thanks for sharing on Literacy Musing Mondays.
