Today is Surgery Day, Please Pray for Me

Today is surgery day. Please pray for me. I will be away from the blog for awhile. I'm not sure how soon I will feel up to typing again. I have excellent surgeons, and I trust God will guide their hands as well as those of the staff members who care for me. Thank you all for going through this cancer journey with me. It's not been fun, but you've all encouraged me so much along the way. Thank you for your patience with me especially these last few weeks. 

Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Isaiah 41:10

 And He (Jesus) said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.” Mark 5:34

 O Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me.

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
3 John 1:2

    Laura, silly me thought that Wed. was the 20th and I prayed for you and your surgeons all day! Add today's prayers and you'll get twice the prayers. Well, I guess there's no such thing as too many prayers.

    I am praying for you as you have your surgery and begin your recovery. May these words from Ps. 116:1 & 2 give you some comfort. 'I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live." The picture of our Lord turning his ear and listening to us is so awesome. I'll continue to pray for you. Diane

    I pray that God's presence is palpable today. I pray your surgeons are guided by Jesus in their actions towards you. I pray your recovery is complete and that everything goes according to God's good plan for you. Be blessed :)

    Dearest Jesus, I know of your love for Laura today. Your presence is before her, behind her, above her and below her. Your eyes are constantly turned towards her the way a parent does when their child is ill. Beloved Lord, thank you that all of Laura's family and her friends can rest in the assurance of your promises.     This is Monday. Hopefully, you had a good surgery and are starting to begin the recovery process. I spent some time this morning specifically praying for you--that God would help you feel better, that the issues are resolved, and that your recovery will be off to a good start.
