5 Days of Frugal Eating Lunch

Day 2

One of the benefits of being a homeschooler is being home for lunch.  These are some of the frugal things my family eats for lunch at home:

Stir-fried cabbage
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
Dried beef gravy over biscuits
Biscuits and jelly
Cornbread
Homemade bread
Homemade rolls
Egg salad sandwiches*
Fried egg sandwiches*
Can Opener Soup

*Eggs are cheap for us.  We have our own hens.

The key is to think creative not fancy.  We don't have to have meat at every meal.  Do with whatcha got.  ~smile~  Look and see what you've got and how you might combine it.

You can do this!

Blessings from Harvest Lane Cottage,
Laura

God bless you! This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
