The Homeschool Mother's Journal

In my life this week…
Remembering the anniversary of the May 22, 2011 tornado that changed everything for Joplin and the surrounding area.

In our homeschool this week…
Just finishing up required hours.  From here through at least the end of June, only Bible and an hour of silent reading will be required of all three of my students.

Helpful homeschooling tips or advice to share…
Read to your children every day.

I am inspired by
People who keep going even when it's hard.

My favorite thing this week was…
Listening to my daugher, Emily, share Jesus with her uncle.

What’s working/not working for us…
A set time for work, reading, and creativity each day.

Things I’m working on…
Finishing a dress I started for Easter!

I’m reading…
A Perfect Square by Vanetta Chapman

I’m grateful for…
     Twenty-six years

I’m praying for…
     My family.

A photo, video, link, or quote to share…

  3. I'm inspired too by people who persevere through challenging circumstances. I can't even begin to imagine what the people of Joplin went through a year ago.

Thank you so much for "talking back" to me!

I read all comments and appreciate them.
Please make sure I have your email if you want me to respond or pray for you.

God bless you! This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
