Welcome Spring!
I'm loving the color that's popping up in the garden. Just days ago I was enjoying the last snow of Winter. Yesterday, I enjoyed iced tea instead of hot tea at Starbucks. ~grin~ I went shopping with my good friend Deb for some new clothes for the new season yesterday. What fun! It's literally been years since I've shopped for clothes with a friend. Now I wonder why. I'm typing this late at night. By the time you read this, I'll be off on my first yard sale adventure of the season. This at the insistence of my children. Homeschooling has its benefits. We often start school a couple of hours late on Fridays so that we can hit the garage sales. How do you enjoy the early Spring days?
Blessings,
Laura

Grateful for temperatures that are climbing gracefully
Hi Laura,
ReplyDeleteToday is a sunny day and I am enjoying it so very much! I've been working around outside with gardening and my chicken coop on these nice days.
Good luck on your first garage sale adventure of the year!
Marissa,
ReplyDeleteOur dvd player quit suddenly last weekend. We found another one for $3. I love to let my children bargain for me. ~smile~ My daughter got a backpack that she needed for $.50. Yay! A successful morning for us.
Hi Laura,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by Adorned From Above. We really appreciate it.
Have a great week.
Debi

Thank you, Laura!
ReplyDeleteThanks for talking back Debi and Charly.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Laura
Whilst your temps are rising, it's slowly dropping here as we head towards winter. I'm looking forward to the cosy days indoors.
ReplyDeleteI think this spring will be more welcomed than most!!! Love the pink flowers!!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely. It's been really cold here.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun Saturday.
Good day, Jo,
ReplyDeleteI'm curious, where do you reside?
Blessings,
Laura
Happy Spring to you too, Laura!
ReplyDeleteI love that you are all ready getting pretty flowers in your yard. Some of mine are starting to peek through the dirt and I was happy to see that my rhubarb is coming up as well. I love to plant anything that I can utilize in the kitchen. :)
It's been a hard week here and we have been having brown out conditions out on the prairie. We have had to dirt proof our homes. Seriously! It's been hard. Talk about dust bowl living. I don't know how the ol homesteaders lived through the great depression era. Talk about hard, disheartening and sad times. Ugh! If you think about it would you please pray for rain for us out here on the prairies of Colorado? I sure would appreciate it!
Have a wonderful week and enjoy those garage sales.
Blessings,
Amy
Hi Amy,
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with brown outs. I will pray for you and your town. I'd love you to tell more about what's going on. I didn't notice anything on your blog about it. I'm going to add your blog to my sidebar so that I don't miss any of your posts.
Though we've not met face to face, I do enjoy our growing friendship.
God bless you and yours, I'll pray just as soon as I hit send.
Laura
Those pink hyacinths are just gorgeous! Oh, dear! I hope they are hyacinths ;) Blessings to you this day :)
ReplyDeleteHello Jacqueline,
ReplyDeleteYes, they are Hyacinths. I wish I had a whole garden full. They're just such a happy little spring harbinger. I'll be by in a bit to say hello.
Blessings,
Laura
You have another friend Deb? ;) Jealous of the warmer weather, we are happy with the 40's around here and hoping that my tulips and daffodils that are are shooting up don't freeze!
ReplyDeleteI liked my first friend, Deb, so much I thought another one would be a good idea. ~smile~
ReplyDeleteMissing you friend!
