On a Cold Winter's Night

A cold winter's night at home...
I'm just getting ready to make a pot of cocoa, put on my jammies, and read The Life Giving Home.

What do you like to do on a cold winter's night?

...doing what I can with what I've got where I am

  3. We batten down the hatches here, as Storm Imogen has hit S W England. Stay inside, put the heating on and enjoy a lovely hot drink together.

  5. Lovely...
I love cozy nights like that.
I enjoy putting my jammies on early, curling up on the sofa with a throw blanket and a latte with whipped cream. : )

  7. How wonderful! I like to make cocoa for the children and me. Although, this year has been so light on snow.....I miss it.

I hope you enjoy Sally's new book. I've been wanting to order it, but it isn't in the budget at this time.

    Have a wonderful evening,

  9. That's one thing I love about winter...you can put your jammies on really early! I like your plan too. I love to catch up on thing on a cold winter night, a good magazine, letter writing, embroidery work or a good movie with a cup of tea.
    Enjoy and keep warm.

Some nights, I like to craft, catch up on blogs, color, on occasion read or I curl up and watch a movie. Perfect nights! ☺

  11. Hugs to you, too Amy. Tonight I'm updating some Ebay listings, answering emails, checking facebook, and I just might fit in a little reading right before bed.

  17. I really like the quote you shared in the picture, Laura. It sounds like a book I would enjoy. Currently, putting a shovelful of coal on the fire and eating a bowl of soup is how I am spending my winter evening :-)
