It's a chilly day in Southwest Missouri.
I'll be cuddling up with a good book in a little while.
I'll have to put on a kettle for tea first.
Constant Comment by Bigelow is my favorite.
I'll be reading Grow in Grace by Susan M.B. Preston. It's the second book in The Apostle John Series.
Right now, Hold the Faith, the first in the series is free for Kindle.
Do you need a good book for your winter day?

ReplyDeleteHi Michelle,
ReplyDeleteI've been blessed to stay inside while my men went out of doors this afternoon. If you're in the Ozarks, you're probably seeing some of our wintry mix, too. Enjoy it! It will be spring soon.
Blessings to you from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

Hey Laura, thank you for sharing your book review and freebie at Good Morning Mondays. There is nothing like reading a good book when the weather outside is cold. I am looking forward to winter here in Australia for that very reason. I feel terribly guilty reading during the day when the weather is fine. Blessings to you as spring approaches.
ReplyDeleteI always love a good free Kindle book! Thanks for sharing at Home Sweet Home!
ReplyDeleteSherry
Thanks Laura! I'll have to load it on my kindle. Hope it warms up for you soon! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
You're so right Terri. I hope you enjoy your winter as much as I have.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your sweet comments!
ReplyDeleteIt has been nippy here in IL too...and not much sun. But today the sun is shinning bright and always helps one to feel cherry! Anything free is good but a book is even better. Thanks for visiting and your blog is very nice.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Cathy. I'll be back to visit again. I hope we'll be blog friends.

I didn't realize your in Missouri. Or did I foget? HeHe.
ReplyDeleteIt is absolutely beautiful here in Texas. But it is a good day to read for sure. It's always a good day for a good book. These sound good. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoy your. week!
Enjoying cool weather here in Southwest Missouri, but I sure do want some of the white stuff—the flakey white stuff! I've wanted to make snow ice cream for two years!
DeleteThank you so much Laura for the links to the e-books. I will enjoy reading over winter as it is quite hot here in Australia presently. :-)
ReplyDeleteKaye
So, crazy question, do you call it winter or summer right now?
DeleteHappy week Kaye!
Most definitely it is still summer here :-) I am not a lover of the heat, so am counting down the days until autumn (27 to go).
DeleteHave a lovely week Laura!
I'm longing for snow. It seems like it's snowing all over the US but here. Well, I know that's not true, but it seems like it!
DeleteHope you enjoyed that tea, and that you got some snow too!
ReplyDeleteOh Annie, you know I want snow!
DeleteWe got cold, but no snow.
Still asking Father God....
Happy week!
Asking for your needs to be met, too....
