Happy Homemaker Monday ~ October 14, 2019

As I write ...   Monday evening

The weather.... Very cool... I'll need a blanket tonight.

Right now I am... borrowing my husband's computer to get a little writing done tonight.

Thinking... I need to be in bed. I've been staying up too late lately.

A quote to share...

"The little house was fairly bursting with good food stored away for the long winter. The pantry and the shed and the cellar were full, and so was the attic.

On my prayer list...

  • My husband fell and injured the leg that he had the total knee replacement on last spring. Praying for his healing.
  • Peace of Jerusalem and Israel
  • Wisdom, health, and protection for President Trump, Vice-President Pence, and their families.
  • Good, godly, brave people to be elected to serve in Congress and across our nation according to The Constitution.

My prayer for you, my dear reader...

Father God, most likely each of my readers has something heavy on her heart. Father, I ask that whatever that need is—provision for a bill, for food, for education or whatever—healing for herself or a loved one—relief from pain, or fear, or anxiety—reconciliation with a loved one or between family members—salvation for someone they care about—I ask you to meet her needs. Holy Spirit, please make your presence known. Bring salvation, bring peace, bring faith, bring hope. Thank you so much for your provision of salvation and everything we need. I bless your Holy Name Jesus! Amen.

Thank you all for dropping in.
Please take a few moments and jot me a note.

    1. Thank you so much Cheryl. My husband is feeling a little better today, but he is considering going to his knee surgeon again to make sure nothing was damaged. I consider it a privilege to pray for others. You may certainly email me if you have any private things you'd like me to pray about. May God bless and keep your family in Jesus' name

    1. How cool Pamela! Do you know what kind of dog your pup's daddy is?
Ours has a Dachshund mama and papa was a ramblin' man!
We've spent a lot of time trying to decide just what kind of dog he was!

Am lifting him up in prayer as well as you and all the others. Love your Little House quote and GOD'S WILL FOR YOUR LIFE is a good book! God bless you, my friend! I love and miss you! <3

    1. Hi Rebecca,

I miss you too. It seems like it's been a long time since we've talked or seen each other. I am so thankful that you were there for me during one of the hardest times in my life. You gave up continuity to the whole process and you had a matching faith that was awesome. Enjoy this fall season. I know it's beginning to get beautiful here, I'll bet it's getting beautiful where you live too. God bless you my friend. Hugs,
      Laura

God bless you! This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
