Contentment, Thankfulness, Happily Ever After

Contentment...
It's definitely an out of style commodity these days.
You cannot find it in the stores on Black Friday.
It's not available online on Cyber Monday.

It is only available in one place—from one person.
Within yourself—from God.
It's available here and now.
It begins with being thankful.

Live today as though now is your happily ever after.
It is.

Happy Thanksgiving
from Harvest Lane Cottage,

Laura
Thankful to be alive
for my sixth Thanksgiving
since CHRIST conquered cancer in my body

  1. Rejoicing with you on your victory over cancer! A couple weeks ago, I posted about being happy and content...despite NOT getting things I desperately wanted (a third baby, and a move to another location). The Lord changed ME, not my circumstances, and brought me to a place of contentment. How I praise Him.

    1. You know, I've found in my fifty four years that it's when I finally accept things as they are and become content, God does something to change circumstances. He is good and kind and knows what we need. Blessings to you and yours this Thanksgiving,Laura Lane

Thanks for writing me back!

This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
