Hey y'all!
I'm Christmas Kringling!
๐
Christmas in July is a real thing for me. I've been listening to Christmas music every once in a while this month. I made some snowball cookies earlier this month. Most importantly, I am making and collecting Christmas gifts.
๐
I've been hosting a Christmas Club at my home monthly since last Christmas. We're having fun catching up while we create whatever we'd like.
๐
Currently, I have too many projects on my needles. I do love working with my hands. So, in the hopes of getting some things finished, I plan to work on one thing at a time for the next few weeks. I'll share my progress here.
๐
This week's project is a pair of scrappy socks for my brother-in-love.
๐
Now... to try to finish them before next week!
What are you making or creating?
๐
Keep calm and make on!
Laura

I have another baby blanket for the Open Door Mission on my crochet hook. So far I've finished 3 pair of socks for Christmas with another two pair to go by the holiday. I should be okay. I would love to have a group of ladies to craft with. I can't seem to find anyone at our church who wants to meet on a regular basis. Everyone seems so busy.

You're making marvelous progress, Betsy! Good for you. I found old homeschool mom friends. We all finished homeschooling years ago. It is so refreshing to get together with ladies with a shared history. I recommend you look outside the box.
DeleteI too love to work with my hands however, I am on a reading streak as of late. When that happens my knitting suffers a bit. Hope you get all the "kringling" done that you hope to accomplish!
ReplyDeleteAh, Monica, that's one reason that I love audiobooks. I like my paper books, too; but, I like being productive with my hands at the same time. I use the Everand app.
DeleteThanks for visiting my Wednesday Hodgepodge blog post today and as a long-time Hodgepodger, I welcome you to join us every week. Joyce, at http://www.fromthissideofthepond.com/, posts the questions on her blog usually on Sunday evenings. That gives us plenty of time to get them answered and posted on Wed. morning. I look forward to seeing you there.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I shall look into that. Keep your eyes peeled for me. ~smile~
DeleteI like your colorful yarn - it's fun.
ReplyDeleteIt's a bunch of yarn scraps. I love them, too.
DeleteBeautiful blog
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rajani.
DeleteYour knitting is inspirational. I don't knit, but I do sew. I am trying to work on a project for the slower days. Many blessings to you Laura!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sherry. I need to start sewing soon!
