I LOVE YOU MONTH! I LOVE MY HUSBAND!

I love my Lowell.

He's been my Lowell since November 23, 1981.

That's when he asked me to go steady with him.

That boy had no idea what he was asking!

I had no idea what yes meant!

It's been quite a wild and curving ride together.

~ ♥♥♥~

True committed love always...

even through
4 years going steady,
1 year of engagement,
39 years of marriage,
26 jobs,
4 businesses,
14 deaths,
4 children,
26 years of homeschooling,
19 chickens,
4 cats,
3 dogs,
1 goat,
11 churches,
9 homes,
17 surgeries,
cancer,
chemo,
radiation,
and a knee replacement.

Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Lane
until death parts us.

THIS is marriage...
never wondering if you will face tomorrow alone...
until one of you steps into eternity.

I LOVE YOU LOWELL!

Thank you!

Love,
Laura

    1. Hi Billie Jo!I don't know if I'll write a post for every day, but I hope to make it to Valentine's Day at least. You know, I find that I can substitute "I'm thankful for..." for "I love" in most instances. ~smile~I'm thankful for your friendship long-distance though it may be. Hug!Laura

  4. Wow, Laura! That is the most realistic list ever. This is what marriage is! I'm not sure young people know that these days. We are about to have our 37th anniversary and next to raising two godly young men, it's definitely our greatest accomplishment. Thanks for sharing :)

  5. The love of a good man is truly the Lord's most special blessing. You have been through so much and I am sure it strengthened both your love for each other and your love for the Lord.
    God bless you:)

Thanks for writing me back!

This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
