Why I Love Homemaking....

I love homemaking because...

It is such a blessing to have a home to make, even if we don't own it.

I realize that being home with my children is a great privilege. Thank you Honey!
I love knowing that I'm here for my husband and kids whenever they need me.
I answer to my God and my husband.
I can take time to "carpe diem", sieze the day, whether it be checking on the groundhogs at the corner, stopping when we see elephants outside at the circus' out of season barn, watching a plane land at the airport in the next town, or just stopping to see a bug or flower or whatever my kids are excited about.
I get to be here to help my children learn new skills, like cooking!

Thank you God!
Thank you Honey!

  15. Beautiful! Me too, love homemaking! Some folks I'm sure wonder why I don't work outside the home, our kids are grown, so why not make some money?

My hubby works out of our home but works LONG hours. Being home I'm available to spend time with him as his schedule allows. Make his breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If I worked, with his long and sporatic hours we would never see each other, no quality time together. And most of all, and a blessing I don't take for granted, I'm able to seize the day...moles in the yard, senior friends needing a visit, taking mom to the doctor, and other amazing opportunities God provides everyday.
I don't take it for granted, very thankful.

Thanks so much for sharing at AMAZE ME MONDAY...
    Blessings,
    Cindy

  16. I totally get that, Cindy. I hope to do the same. I've been working in hubby's cafe/bakery and miss being home. It's what he needs from me right now, so it's what I'm doing. ~smile~
