My Spring Bucket List 2016

Getting things done is often one part work and two parts focus.
~smile~
My Bucket Lists help me to focus on the things that I want to do that aren't part of my daily routine.

Here's my Spring Bucket List 2016.
  • Paint girls' room trim
  • Use chalkboard paint on the girls' window to the garage
  • Use leftover trim paint to touch up trim in the hallway
  • Have Michael and his friends put up new light in the hallway
  • Catch up the homeschool paperwork
  • Start working on school plans for next year
  • Spring clean
  • Declutter
  • Have the yard sale
  • Go to yard sales ~smile~
  • Go to the drive-in with the kids
  • Get a basket of flowers to enjoy outside the door
  • Plant some spring flowers
  • Get the vegetable garden planted
  • Picnic
  • Ice cream run with the kids
  • Get Amy's camera
  • Wash windows
  • Make cookies for the kids on a rainy day
  • Make  jam
  • Graduation for my homeschooled daughter, Emily
  • Celebrate 30th our wedding anniversary

The bucket lists inspire me and help me to enjoy life and get things done. I hope this list will inspire you to make your own list! I know some of it will be put on my summer bucket list, but it is motivating!

What will you put on your bucket list?

Be blessed!

    1. I look forward to hearing from you again. Best wishes for your move.

Hubby likes the job. He's glad the hour and a half drive is only for six months!

Blessings to you for a fabulous week!

  4. Laura, As always, your bucket lists are inspirational!!

I never think of doing a "bucket list" for the every day things, but indeed it is the every day things that make up most of our life and bring us the most joy, not the "grand bucket list items".

Thanks for sharing and Happy Anniversary!

    1. Truth is, Karen, with our budget for the last several years, big things just haven't been a possibility. So, I have been making these bucket lists so that I not only get things done, I don't leave out the fun stuff!

  7. I love your lists. I like the way you broke your yard sale down into various components - makes the list more doable. I make lists too. In fact, right now I'm in the middle of putting my summer sewing list together.

  8. Oh my...your list is long. ;) I hope you get much accomplished this Spring.
I haven't been on blogland for awhile. With summer almost here, I've been rushing to get school done. And I'm getting a little burnt out. Its been a super long year. The high school years are rough! Thankful I only have one in that category, Haha!
Been thinking about you. I hope all is well.
    Sending hugs, Amy

  9. Congrats on being married 30 years!! That's quite a feat in our society today!

This is a great list of things to get accomplished. I noticed some of it was task related, but I did see some fun things on the list too.

    1. Thank you Crystal! You're so kind. The best way to be married 30 years is to stay together. ~giggle~

We were highschool sweethearts... and they called it puppy love!

I know I won't finish all the list, but it will keep me moving on those days when I just want to go out and play!

Be blessed, and thanks so much for talking back!

  10. I won't finish it all, Amy, but it will keep me focused so that I'll get more done than I would without a list. We've been trying to get school done, too. My Emily is going to graduate! I'm scrambling to make sure she gets all the credits she can. Now I'm realizing what I forgot!

  13. Hey, I love how your bucket list is more of a seasonal to-do list of things that are mostly enjoyable rather than the bucket list of things people want to get done before they die (morbid but that is what I think of when I hear bucket list). It is super fun to make lists and be able to check things off!! Homemaking and being a mom is so amazing it is awesome when we can track these things, even if it is just in list form!!

  14. Hope you'll be able to cross out all items for spring.
    Enjoy the season!

  15. Hi Laura, I am visiting from My Flagstaff Home. I, too, am a homeschool mama with one graduating this year. I am a list maker and often have 2 or more going just trying to keep my ducks in a row. I had not considered doing a big list for the season and with fun things mingled in. Thanks for the idea! Now I need to find a pen and some paper. You would think that as homeschoolers that wouldn't be hard to do...

  16. I love thinking of bucket lists by season! Thanks for sharing at My Flagstaff Home.

    1. Not so much, it's been too busy around here. I think I need to modify it. Summer's almost here! Ah well. Without goals where would we be?
