It's a lovely rainy day.
It's only 70 degrees in July!
Praise God!
I'm off to the kitchen to make peanut butter cookies!
Joy to my little cottage home!
Blessings,

HiLaura we have had some rain here too, always freshens things up. You sound as if you have been your very busy self. Have some time for yourself Laura this weekend, you work too hard. Thinking of you and your family
ReplyDeleteLots of love
Dorothy
:-)xxxxxx
I am so glad that you are getting some rain. We have been getting a few storms here and there and of course we could always use a wee bit more. It would be so nice that we could get out of this horrible drought we are in. Enjoy your baking!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Amy
Yum, peanut butter cookies. My guys like them filled with semi-sweet chocolate chips. Better than Reece's peanut butter cups! Glad you are feeling better. Funny what a little rain and cooler weather can do. Keep smiling!
ReplyDeleteHi Amy,
ReplyDeleteI decided to try a new peanut butter cookie recipe that doesn't use flour. I used some brown sugar for some of the white sugar. Don't do that. They turned out to be a poor substitute for old-fashioned peanut butter cookies. I have got to find my cookie cookbook!
Hubby told me to stick to the old recipe.
Oh well, you never know until you try.
Blessings,
Laura
Hi Linda,
ReplyDeleteAh, not so yummy. I tweaked the recipe in a way that didn't turn out so well. Oh well, I tried. Back to the old recipe.
Blessings,
Laura
P.S. Coming to Wetcreek for a visit!
Hi Dorothy,
ReplyDeleteWhat I'd really like to do this weekend is sew! We'll see.

We have been blessed with a nice summer so far, sure makes up for last year, doesn't it! Enjoy it, I know I am!
ReplyDeleteHi Faye,
ReplyDeleteIt's been awhile since we've "talked". ~smile~
We have a lovely sunny day this morning. The
temperature is expected to reach 80. It's a
very welcome respite from the heat.
I'm coming over for a visit this morning.
Blessings to you!
Laura
Hi Jann,
ReplyDeleteI found out just how much my younger children don't like peanut butter cookies. They didn't even eat one!
That's okay. Now I know how to keep cookies in the jar!
God bless you,
Laura
Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteIt has been nice, hasn't it? I can handle a little heat for awhile if it's not humid. I just can't stand melting when I walk out the door. That's only happened a couple of times this summer.
God bless!
Laura
