I'll be at Farm Girl Fest in Carthage, Missouri with my family. We'll be selling our big gooey homemade cinnamon rolls and demonstrating dutch oven cooking. Drop by Red Oak II and see us if you're in the Carthage area.

Hi Laura oh I do wish I could pop along to meet you all, it would be such fun to do. Sadly a very large pond separates us all but I will be with you all in spirit - have a wonderful time as I know you will. Don't forget to put your name to my giveaway Laura, you are one of my most favourite ladies.

My husband is making 12 dozen at the church right now. It's raining! Please pray the rain will stop so that Farm Girl Fest can go on!

Hi Dorothy,
ReplyDeletePlease pray. Hubby is currently making 12 dozen cinnamon rolls. It's 6:24 a.m. and it's still raining! This is an outdoor event.
Please pray with me that the rain will stop and it will dry up for the event that starts in just a few short hours.
Blessings,
Laura
P.S. How well do you swim?
The rain has stopped here in Opolis! Hope you have a good turnout today!

Oh I really hope it has stopped raining and you all have a great time!

Happy fall day! The big event in our hometown just got cancelled because of the rain. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you!

It's been raining cold rain all morning, but they didn't cancel. I brought my daughter home to get dry clothes. It looks like it will clear up a bit this afternoon. Prayers appreciated!

HI Christine,
ReplyDeleteWe're cold and wet, but the rain stopped just a little bit ago. I'm at the house changing to dry clothes with my daughter. Hubby's watching the stand.
We're heading out again in a few minutes.
Blessings,
Laura
And praise the Lord, the rain DID stop, and we ended up with a beautiful afternoon and evening! I'm looking forward to another fun day tomorrow! :) It was good to visit with you today. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Miss Sarah,
ReplyDeleteIt was a fabulous afternoon and evening. I enjoyed our visit as well.
Blessings to you!
Laura
Hello Mrs. Brown,
ReplyDeleteOpolis is such a sweet little town. I love that big tree with the swing in it in the park. Every once in awhile we stop there when we're going to or from Pittsburg.
We did have a very nice afternoon. I thought the rain might continue all day, but it ended up beautiful.
Best of all, we sold all of our cinnamon rolls. We're going to the little country church there at Red Oak II tomorrow, then we'll just enjoy the afternoon and demonstrate dutch oven cooking.
We're making Spicy Red Beans tomorrow.
Blessings,
Laura
Oh, by the way, Melinda, I clicked over to your blog. I signed up to follow on GFC in case you decide to write again. I think you have a good start. I always need ways to save on groceries and expenses.
