♥
- A home of our own for our family
- A van to drive (even if it feels like we need 2*)
- Water to drink (even if it's carried in gallon jugs)
- I have my family all in one town.
- I have several outfits as do each of my children and my husband.
- I have my own washer and dryer. That wasn't always the case.
Oh the list could go on and on and on. Jo at Finding Joy in the Everyday wrote an excellent article about just how blessed most of us are. It's Counting Your Blessings.
A Little More on Our Blessings shares some grim facts about how blessed women are to live in a free country like Australia or America.
Do drop by and read these excellent articles. Jo has some beautiful insight, has done some research, and also writes a lovely blog.

First---I loveeeeee your look here...love the background. Blessings, I often forget at times....I just wrote a post for tomorrow about grace....talk about going hand in hand. Have a beautiful upcoming week.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda. By the way, I have no idea why I'm just getting this now!
DeleteBlessings to you my friend!
Laura
So true! Much to be thankful for...
ReplyDeleteI am indeed really blessed but also tend to forget it many days, so thank your for the reminder. Also, I really like the new look of your blog.
ReplyDeleteI am very blessed and it's great to be reminded to! It's important not to take everything for granted, after all this is just our temporary home...We should enjoy all the little things and cherish all that we have been given. Being thankful is a plus too!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great week, Laura!
Hugs, Amy
I'm happy to get those hugs and send hugs back, Amy. I appreciate your friendship.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for talking back Linda and Ms SF. It's so nice to get to know other bloggers and readers.
ReplyDeleteLaura, Thank you for spurring us on to count our blessings, especially the ones that we may take for granted, and for sharing blog resources to help to that end.
ReplyDeleteBlessings. :-)
What a lovely post! It is so good to be content with what the Lord gives us. One of my favorite blessings is a hot shower/bath - thank you, LORD!
ReplyDeleteYour autumn background is so happy looking!

ReplyDeleteHi Hope, yes. You've got the problem fixed. I've been away from the computer. Thanks so much for replying.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Laura
