A Note on Why I'm Not Being So Thrifty Right Now.

Hello dear readers,

I may not be posting much for a couple weeks. I've got some health issues happening in my life that are making it hard for me to write. I'll tell more soon. Be blessed, and don't give up on me! Prayers requested. Just feeling tired right now from it all, and I still don't know how much to share about what's going on. The internet isn't exactly private. ~smile~ Still processing it all myself, too.

I will get back to my Thrifty Week posts, I just haven't felt like putting in the effort right now to be thrifty. I'm too distracted.

Be blessed!

Thank you to all of you have been so faithful to pray for me even though you may not know what I'm facing. So many of you have become good friends.

  3. Laura~ I've been away from blogging due to some health issues and family things. I usually check in on my blogging friends and always stop here for a visit. Like visiting with a friend. I plan to be back at it soon but sometimes a rest is good. Sending up prayers knowing already God has you in his greater plans. Big hugs!Enjoy your Mother's Day!~Amy

  12. Praying much, sweet friend, and sending you oh so much love! I loved what you said above in your reply to one of the comments about "the whipping post". Oh, dear Lord, how grateful we are for that awful, beautiful place! He suffered it all, and He knows, my dear friend...He knows. Love you.

    1. I know. I think about how he must have struggled in the garden. He knew how the Romans would kill him and what he would have to endure. He loves us so much.

  19. Hi Laura,
I have been praying and know it can be so overwhelming at times with health problems; plus the photo you shared that your husband took and said that he was out of town--that too, makes things even more difficult. I too had a recent run-in w/my health and what I thought was the fix, ended up being WORSE. So my time prayer time increases daily. But He is good, always. Hope to hear some good news from you, soon!

    1. Father God, you are the God of the ages who created and designed our bodies perfectly. I ask that you completely heal this lady of asthma. Jesus, you took stripes for our complete healing. I plead your blood over her for healing. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
