Weekend Reading ~ August 28

Hello everyone! I've not read many blog posts this week, so I took a look at my Pinterest boards for a few favorites to share. I'm still up to my eyeballs in zucchini and cucumbers. I'll have to work on that this weekend. I'm also going to sneak in a little knitting time and reading time.

The big job is laundry. I have a bunch of loads all sorted and ready to go. Mount Washmore or Mount Neverest? It's not as bad as it used to be with four kids at home, but somehow a big pile of blankets and sheets got added in that need to be washed, too.

I hope you can steal away for a bit and enjoy some of these posts. I plan to make another loaf of Apple-Zucchini bread soon!

Blessings to you all!
This is a GOOD year because it's NOW.
NOW is the BEST time!

Hugs,
Laura

  2. How does laundry do that? You can have it all done and turn around for two minutes- shazam! More laundry 🧺🌺

    1. Isn't it strange how folks seem to change clothes so often? You're right! Shazam!

  6. Hello friend. How are you? I want to try your liquid laundry detergent with Dawn. I have been making a homemade spot remover with Dawn for years. Where do you purchase your Dawn? Walmart makes a copy cat version version of Dawn. Do you think it works as well?

    1. Hello, I purchase my Dawn at Dollar Tree, Dollar General, or Walmart. My husband is pretty particular about using only Dawn, so I don't know about the copycat version. It's worth a try. Still, the detergent uses so little, we're only talking about pennies a load. You may have to fiddle with the amount of detergent to use. If I have super dirty clothes (rarely) I still have some commercial detergent.  I hope this works for you.Blessings,Laura
