I am an American.
I was born in the U.S.A.
It's okay if you weren't, just go through the legal steps to citizenship.
It's hard, because it is a privilege not a right.
I support, respect, and pray
for President Trump.
I respect the office of president and our election process; therefore, President Obama was my president even though I believe he did not put America's interests first.
I fly the American flag.
I pledge allegiance to the flag
and one nation under God.
I am a Christian,
and there is no other way to God
but through his son Jesus.
I believe in the Ten Commandments.
Jesus summed them up in two:
Love God and Love others.
I believe in the Golden Rule.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
I obey the laws.
I believe in The United States Constitution.
I believe in the 2nd Amendment.
Keep the guns in the hands of the good guys not just the bad guys!
I believe in marriage between one man and one woman.
I believe that God created us male or female.
It was His choice not ours.
We must pray for our country.
There are many who are trying to destroy it to gain more power.
There are many who are blindly following them.
There are a few people who are trying to lead
this country into a downward spiral of sin.
It's ugly.
Elections are this year.
Vote to keep this country
the land of the free
and the brave.
Thank you Veterans.
Thank you military personnel.
Thank you military families.
Thank you statesmen who are fighting for our country.
God bless America
Land that I love
Stand beside her
And guide her
Through the night with the light from above....
God bless America
My home sweet home!

ReplyDeleteDearest Friend,
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful, patriotic summary of my thoughts as well.
Thank you!
Have a blessed, cozy week. : )
Thank you for your post. I agree with everything.
ReplyDeleteAmen, Amen, Amen
Laura, I couldn't have said it better!! Excellent.
ReplyDeleteIf guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. There are so many people in our country who live in areas where bears, snakes, other wild animals and human predators abound. These people don't just want guns, they need them to protect their home and families! It amazes me that ignorant people in cities have no understanding of what being American means in rural areas. You said it well Laura.
ReplyDeleteOh Laura! Thank you! Reading the gave me goosebumps. It's beautiful. I feel the same! This needs to be printed and passed out to every person!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words, Laura. What a privilege to live in America, be a free Christian and love our flag.

Thank you, Laura for this wonderful post! It is all so true.
ReplyDeleteNot just words to read, words to live by (thank you, Laura). As a pro-life Christian; ALL lives matter. Please pray for our President and our Country, daily.
ReplyDeleteYes. I shall pray. ALL lives do matter.
DeleteHi Laura - I agree with you on everything but Trump. His words and actions are anything but a God fearing Christian and that troubles me. Hope we can agree to disagree.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, Deb. We can agree to disagree. I know that President Trump has his flaws like any candidate.
DeleteWhen it comes to President Trump or Candidate Biden, I look at a few things.
1. Who do I expect will appoint Supreme Court justices who will uphold the Constitution as written?
2. Who supports pro-America, pro-life, pro-second ammendment, pro-capitalism standards?
3. Who has a proven record of foreign and domestic policy that has benefited America?
While President Trump is not perfect, I believe he meets these standards better than his opponent Mr. Biden.
Please take a moment to read this post that I shared back when Mrs. Clinton and President Trump were running. It was a hard decision for Christians then, too.

Blessings to you friend!
Have a great weekend.
Laura
P.S. I'm happy to listen to your viewpoint if you disagree.
I agree with Deb.
DeletePerhaps read Proverbs 6:16-19 the six things the Lord hates, and I pray that your eyes will be opened.
Thy will be done!
Thank you Kathy, I shall.... I just did. ~smile~ I do agree that I want a candidate that meets those requirements. I must say though, that we have only two options, and I will still vote for the conservative one. I agree to disagree my friend. ~smile~ Yes, may God's will be done. He knows what's best for us.
