A New Decade Begins

Hey y'all! Happy birthday to me. I'm 60 today.

I sat down to write a post about this milestone, my fifties, and some of my dreams for the next 3,653 days until I have my 70th birthday. I do believe that this is going to be the best yet. BUT, as I started to write, a God breeze* started taking me another direction. The post began to get very long. I decided to split it.

Okay, I'm stopping here. This is all flowing so easily from my fingers onto the keyboard and screen. I am stopping, because my Lowell is taking me to lunch. It's time to get ready to go. I'll share more later of what's on my mind.

This post is kind of a way to encourage myself. I was born for this moment. I can do what God has called me to do. I can trust Him to help me or even carry me through.

He is.

I love Him.

May God bless you. Thank you for reading this rather odd post.

Now, I'm off to get ready for my lunch date.

*God breeze is a term coined by Marla Cilley aka FlyLady.

Words to love by! ...typo...I meant to say "live by" but I think I will leave it as love.

    Happy Birthday!

  9. Happy 60th to you. I was mortified to think of 70, but now that I am here, it isn't any different. Just happy to be able to do all that I can still.
May the Lord bless your next year with health and happiness.

    1. Thank you friend! My dad is 82 and says there's nothing he can't do. He just has to think of a smarter way to do it.

Thanks for writing me back!

This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
