When the Darkness Closes in Lord...

When the Darkness Closes in Lord, still I will say,
Blessed be the Name of the Lord, Blessed be your Name, Jesus.

I thank the Lord that my Lowell has found a position. It will take quite some time to catch up on bills. But, I refuse to focus on the darkness of our situation.

Rather, I choose to thank God for the beam of light, the hope he's given us. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.

My God shall supply all our needs. He's done so miraculously over the last four years. I BELIEVE He will continue to do so. I also BELIEVE that He will bless us with every blessing he deems right for us.

Blessings to you ladies!

Blessed beyond....

May I suggest?

  1. I am praising God right along side of you Laura! I am so happy Lowell found a job. I always just take one day at a time. I know that things always work out for the best for me, according to His plan and I try to trust in that. It's hard sometimes though!

  2. Such sweet words and such a blessing to read. God is so good, so faithful, and does supply all our needs. Thank you Lord for Lowell's new job!! Thank you for your provision for this sweet family.

  3. This is one of my favorite songs! It's so hard sometimes to stay focused on praise but when we do He gives us strength and peace.

  4. As I was reading this I just thought that you are learning all of this for a very important reason.

  5. Saw the title of this blog post and was singing along before opening the post! Such a great song...and my heart will choose to say, Lord, blessed be Your name!

    1. Oh so glad it blessed you today. I just got a van, and it had Third Day music in the stereo. Do they call them that anymore? I'm so 1900's.

Hello! I love it when you all talk back!
Your comments have helped me through the hardest time of my life.
Thank you!

I read all the comments I receive. I answer as many as I can.

Right now, I am undergoing radiation treatments, healing from breast cancer surgery on October 20th, and dealing with the side effects of chemotherapy.

I'm having a hard time replying to all the comments. Please understand if I do not answer. This is all new to me.

I treasure your prayers and your comments.

If you have a question, or you need a response, be sure I can reach you by email or subscribe to the comments. I will try to answer each question and request. It just may take me some time.
