Sewing Bee Thursday

I finished about half of my mending last week.
This morning, I sewed a button on a shirt, did some hand sewing to mend a number of seams, and pinned patches on my son's jeans in preparation for machine stitching.  Emily took initiative and mended a couple of holes in her own jeans.  The basket is now empty except for my son's jeans.

  1. ah, mending. Great job getting it done!! I am so bad at getting to the mending.... I found several forgotten items today when I cleaned off my sewing table!

  2. I finally attacked my mending that I needed to get done minus one huge Comforter that needs some help! Not fun but it sure does feel good to get it out of the way! : ) Now to plan on some fun stuff to sew! : )

  3. Yay for mending! I did some mending today too...fixed a seam on a handmade bag and sewed a piece of lace that was coming away from one of my tops.

I like how you have a basket for your mending job too :-)
