Enjoy the season!

The Art of Homemaking
Hi Laura!
ReplyDeleteI would much rather enjoy my caramel apples by making the caramel dip and then dunking my slices of apples in the gooey caramel. I used to love caramel apples when I was younger, but they do havoc on my teeth now. Darn this getting older thing :)
I just love your blog background. Love the colors!
It's been nice and cool here today, I was just thinking about getting out my Fall decorations.
Have a wonderful week.
In God's Grace,
Amy
The apples look delicious even without the caramel, but yum, caramel!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteYes, caramel is one of my favorites. Have you tried salted caramel? It sounds fabulous, but I've not tried it yet.
Blessings,
Laura
Hi Amy,
ReplyDeleteI've put out about half of my fall decorations. I'm going to wait until next week to put the rest out. I like the little scarecrows and jack-o-lanterns to wait until October.
Blessings,
Laura

ReplyDeleteLots of love to you and your lovely family

I love this time of year - autumn! Caramel apples just seem to call out for me when the leaves turn. Thanks for linking these tips! I never thought about the wax on the store bought apples!
ReplyDeleteI never thought about the wax either, Vickie. Now I understand why my caramel wouldn't go on right. I'm looking forward to trying these tips myself.
ReplyDeleteOh Dorothy, You must try them with caramel. You can also cut up an apple, drizzle caramel and pecans over it, oooooh my!
ReplyDeleteI am now craving Caramel ANYTHING :)
ReplyDeleteOops! I'm sorry Deb!
