A Day in the Life of a Homeschooler

The Reading Lesson by Helen Allingham

Ever wonder what life's like for a Homeschooler?  It can be summed up in one word:

Busy.

Maria at Five Simple Things asked me to share about what a homeschooling day in our family looks like.   It was a hard task.  We're rather eclectic and flexible in our learning.  I do hope you'll pop over to Maria's blog and read my guest post.

  1. Hello Laura, Your idea style of Homeschooling sounds like a very good environment for a child to learn and to pursue their bent, that God has for them to fulfill their destiny.
I so appreciate your sweet and honest heart! I would of loved growing up in the kind of home you have made for your family!
    Blessings Always, Roxy

  2. Thank you Roxy. Sometimes I get discouraged because I'm not super organized like some moms, but I know God gave me these kids because He knew I'm the right mom for them.

I just read that post about when to post on blogs etc. I always do 6:30 because I want to get the early am people. It said to post at 11 a.m. What a surprise. Thanks.
    Happy autumn!

  7. That brings back such memories. We homeschooled for many years, my children are all grown now. I miss those years - enjoy them!

Thank you for sharing this at the HomeAcre Hop. I hope you'll join us again this Thursday.

God bless you! This life only works with Jesus. The next life is a continuation of this one—make sure you spend it with Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God the Father!
