~ My thirteen year old had a homemade birthday party with lemonade and cupcakes she made and decorated with her sister. She used some leftover streamers and balloons that she found in our gift wrapping box.
~ We used that yard sale box of wrappings so that we didn't have to buy any.
~ We gave her several small inexpensive gifts.
~ We stayed home and ate homemade sauce from the freezer with spaghetti instead of going out for pizza.
What have you done this week?
Have a thrifty week!
Blessings,
Laura

I believe that when we are thrifty we are more creative! The week has went slow at our house, I have the bug! So I have had lots of downtime just wish I could BREATHE! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteDear Greatfull,
ReplyDeleteBe healed in Jesus' Name! You and your household!
You are right about being creative. I almost need those constraints sometimes.
Blessings,
Laura
Sounds like a good day.... those mundane things are woven together to make a beautiful tapestry of life. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful life, Gentle Joy.
ReplyDeleteBeing thrifty can be fun! It's the love that matters :) It sounds like your family has plenty of love. Have a great week and thanks for linking up at Together on Tuesdays!!!
ReplyDeleteI feel like that at the end of my workday sometimes. "I know I've been doing SOMETHING all day...." I doubt the boss would appreciate that though, if she ever happened to ask what I had accomplished that day! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove those little shavers - they make the sweaters look like new -we saved too when I made homemade pizza! I do appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,
