Maybe I should say lists.
Are you hosting a Thanksgiving celebration this year?
Have you made your menu?
Have you gathered your recipes?
Have you started your grocery lists?
Have you planned a cooking time-line?
Are you hosting a Christmas celebration?
The same quesitons apply, and many more.
Pour yourself a cup of eggnog, tea or grab a Coke from the fridge. Sit down and start making your lists. All the planning you do now will help reduce the stress later and help you enjoy instead of endure.
God bless you!
Happy Thanks Living!

Oh yes!!! I was just thinking yesterday that I need to start getting on top of our Thanksgiving planning.
ReplyDeleteYes, Mama. I need to make those lists myself. My husband has told me just this week that he'd like to spend Thanksgiving at home since he has to work the next day.

I am preparing for a long-awaited visit from my family and am so excited! I actually had 3 lists going :) Thanks for sharing this week on the Art of Home-Making Mondays Laura!
ReplyDeleteOh Yes! I'm making my lists and checking them twice! I'm writing about the same thing on my blog! How fun! Stopping by from What You Wish Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteLists? Oh my goodness, I better get on those. Well, actually I have started a few lists, but not really for Thanksgiving, more for Christmas since my SIL and family will be coming this year. It's going to be a hoot!
ReplyDeleteI better, start thinking of a meal and/or do a shopping list for that.
So much to now do... :-)
I wish we lived closer, so we can brainstorm together over a nice cup of tea.
I hope you have a great day, Laura!
Hugs,
Amy
Sounds like you're going to have a good time, Amy. I think our family will probably be alone this year. I do wish we were closer. I like you.

I rarely make lists, just mental ones in my head. lol! But I certainly will make a grocery list before Thanksgiving and I always make one when my kids come and celebrate our day of baking. I pick things up quite a while in advance, but always have a few things that I have to get just before we all get together. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
