Hello Friends!
I've been thinking. We're all a bit short on money this year. I've come up with just a few ideas for inexpensive gifts.
$5 or Less Gift Ideas:
1. Constant Comment Tea with a thrifted cup or mug
2. Homemade shortbread, sugar, or snickerdoodle cookies
3. Decorate a composition book and include a nice pen
4. Handwritten recipe cards
5. Selection of stationery or cards from $ Tree
6. Inexpensive gloves with buttons sewn on them
7. Christmas ornament
8. Banana, Nut, or Zucchini bread
9. Loaf of homemade bread
10. Jar of homemade jam
11. Simmer pot: Cellophane bag with: orange, cloves, cinnamon stick, and possibly a sprig of rosemary
I'm focusing on Jesus, husband, family, friends, and Kringling.
I encourage you to spend some time this weekend making or finding some frugal Christmas gifts.
I've got more Christmas posts coming out this coming week. Come on by and say hi!

All very good ideas. I just made a couple of pans of Christmas Crack this morning to give as hostess gifts for two events this weekend. I happen to know that both families love it and it's an inexpensive way to say thank you for your hospitality.

Great ideas!
ReplyDeleteI just received a glass ornament of a sparkly, glimmering wreath from Bronners. It's a huge Christmas store in Frankenmuth, Michigan. It was only $5.99. 😇 psst...I got it for myself!
I love the simmer pot idea!
ReplyDeleteAwesome ideas Laura. I'm crocheting a hat for one of my daughters with a Premier Brand one pound skein of yarn from Dollar Tree. It was $5.00! I couldn't resist since Joann had it for a higher price and so did Walmart.
